Line 406 is an insurance policy for poultry breeders that allows the farmers, starting with a basic cover, to improve their insurance with those coverages that best conform to their chicken, broiler turkey and quail operations.

It is a flexible insurance with guarantees that allow the farmer to customise them according to their needs.

    Coverage

    Line 406 is a result of the adjustment of the former Line 147* that covers:

    • The death of birds due to climatic risks and accidents deriving from them, including: heatstroke, panic, fire, flood.
    • The death of an animal due to falling from the shed as a consequence of covered climatic risks.
    • Death, sacrifice or immobilisation compulsory of the birds, because of the appearance of bird flu and illness of Newcastle, etc.

    Additional guarantees:

    Mass mortality and loss of production due to climatic risks, heatstroke and panic.

    Removal and destruction of dead animals.
